In the Hohe Salve region, there are various valleys for climbing the mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps in winter. Kelchsau in particular is a popular destination for ski tourers. The north-south valley offers ski tours to the Lodron, the Schwaigberghorn or the Schneegrubenspitze. Ski tours on the Hohe Salve

Of course, you can also tackle the Hohe Salve (1828 m) yourself - you can either start at the valley station of the Hochsöllbahn cable car to Söll (only outside the alpine ski season) or via the Hopfgarten ski touring trail.
