Winter activities for an all-round successful family vacation

In the Holiday Region Hohe Salve, there are numerous opportunities to really burn off energy with winter sports. First and foremost skiing in the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental and in the Kitzbühel ski area. But the region is also ideally equipped for sledging and tobogganing on natural toboggan runs or for magical horse-drawn sleigh rides through glittering winter landscapes. They can then set off on many easy blue slopes or in the practice area at the valley station. In the Kitzbühel ski area (KitzSki), various family-friendly areas are waiting to be explored by you and your loved ones. Be it the KitzSki Family Park, the Bärenland with course or the Mini-Streif - start your skiing adventures around Kitzbühel.

Then head to the cross-country ski trail in Mariastein (approx. 2 km) or the Angerberg training trail (approx. 3 km), which is also floodlit after dark. Traditional Advent markets and sightseeing in Tyrol

In the run-up to Christmas, visit the romantic and traditional Christmas markets in Tyrol - the Advent market in Mariastein Castle courtyard or the Christmas market in Wörgl are particularly impressive with their contemplation and proximity to the luxurious chalet. Those who travel a little further can stroll through the enchanting alleyways of the Kitzbühel Advent market and get in the mood for Christmas with chestnuts and punch and atmospheric live music. For children, there is a carousel, a Christmas post office, a St. Nicholas procession and much more.
